"The transfiguration of what is observed in reality is the element that characterizes Emanuele Rubini's sculture. In the wake of the 20th century's Avantgardist sculptures (especially Hans Arp, on my opinion), Rubini elaborates his shapes bringing them to a dream dimension, where everything assumes strictly meditated structures, which, though closing the composition into itself, show a free "bioformalism", which is always moving, never aseptic and never completely abstract, but full of organic vitality. He focuses his own art on the central issue of form, which always seems to evolve from one work to another one, as if each sculptured piece of work originates the following one in a way similar to a natural flow, a continuous evolution, a continuous transformation of matter. His research leads to elegant productions through the use of traditional materials, such as Carrara marble, Trani stone, etc. His capacity to transfuse his soul into inanimate objects is particularly striking; he is able to make his forms live in purity and beauty".
